Riporto la "scoperta" di un utente diel forum inglese sulle logiche ( ? ) della guerra civile , penso con il mod Dei... se qualcuno riesce a fare una sintesi per rinco...


As I look in the campaign variables file for the new civil war mechanism I noticed the following thinks who I think is useful for all the community to know.
The new mechanism has four difficulty levels each one for every difficulty level. With low, medium and high values. For example the very high difficulty has :

civil_war_low_chance_very_hard_chance
civil_war_medium_chance_very_hard_chance
civil_war_high_chance_very_hard_chance

For each difficulty level the values increase. So if you want to decrease the civil war event you can decrease the values.
It has three entries for the imperium level.

civil_war_low_chance_fame_level 4
civil_war_medium_chance_fame_level 5
civil_war_high_chance_fame_level 6

The lowest level of imperium for the civil war event, medium level and highest. The values start at level 4 for the low chance and the high value is at level 6.
Three entries for the Two Family system (Monarchy political system. For example Sparta)

civil_war_low_chance_single_power 70
civil_war_medium_chance_single_power 80
civil_war_high_chance_single_power 90

So the lowest chance start when the ruler family reach the 70% of popularity and becomes high when reach 90% of popularity.

Three entries for the Four Family System (Republics. For example Rome)

civil_war_low_chance_multi_power 50
civil_war_medium_chance_multi_power 60
civil_war_high_chance_multi_power 12 BUG FROM C.A.

So the lowest chance start when the ruler family reach the 50% of popularity and becomes high when the popularity is higher 12%.

With this bug when you reach imperium level 4 you have high chance for civil war even the civil war indicator shows low chance.

An entry for the character defection from your family when civil war start.

civil_war_minimum_character_defection_percentage 20

So the chance of defection is 20%.

And for the end, one entry which trigger the civil war event according to imperium level.

civil_war_always_trigger_fame_level 100

If you want less chance to trigger the civil war you can decrease the value.


My recommendations are:
Monarchy system

civil_war_low_chance_single_power 80
civil_war_medium_chance_single_power 90
civil_war_high_chance_single_power 95


Because a King is a King…

Republic system

civil_war_low_chance_multi_power 60
civil_war_medium_chance_multi_power 75
civil_war_high_chance_multi_power 90

Because the fame between 50 and 60 is very normal level of fame to trigger a civil war.

Character defection
civil_war_minimum_character_defection_percentage 10

And for the difficulty levels I propose to make all the values same as normal level of difficulty for the normalization purpose.

dovrei riprendere Rom 2 ma prima qualche paletto sulla guerra civile tanto per non essere preso alla sprovvista, i parametrisono gli stessi ?

Civil War Variables - Fazione singola
Low Chance: 65% Influence
Medium Chance: 55% Influence
High Chance: 45% Influence

Civil War Variables - Fazioni con famiglie
Low Chance: 60% Influence
Medium Chance: 70% Influence
High Chance: 80% Influence

poi, se qualcuno sa smanettare ho trovato un post con le modifiche per togliere la guerra civile ( ?!?! )

Load up PFM, open _devide_et_Impera_Release.pack.

Navigate to:
DB
Campaign_variables_tables
Dres2_campaign_variables

Find the lines:

civil_war_low_chance_fame_level 4
civil_war_medium_chance_fame_level 5
civil_war_high_chance_fame_level 6

Change the values 4, 5 and 6 to 100 and you will not have any chance of civil war based on Imperium level.
